Brucie is the one-eyed wonder dog! Yes, he is missing one eye. But even though he does not have everything the other dogs have, Brucie found that he is valuable. He found his mission in life. But it was not always this way. This is Brucie’s true story.
The content reflects a Biblically based Christian lesson based on the Serenity Prayer, which is printed in full at the end of the book. The themes of this story are living with disability, coping with the cards we are dealt, and finding our purpose and fulfillment. It is age appropriate for anyone (including you adults), but I would suggest that it is best from 0 to 8 years old, and of course anyone who has a child in their life who is learning to read.
